WHAT I OFFER
Six modalities. One steady, collaborative approach.
Every person's experience is unique, and therapy should reflect that. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, drawing on the approaches best suited to your goals.
Individual Therapy
Life can be overwhelming sometimes, and it is good to know that you do not have to navigate it alone. Individual therapy offers a safe, supportive space where you can be heard, gain clarity, and work through life's challenges with the guidance of a qualified therapist.
Couples Therapy
A safe space designed specifically for couples to navigate challenging life transitions and build lasting connections. Every relationship faces challenges; whether you are struggling with communication, navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or simply feeling disconnected, you do not have to face it alone. Together, we will explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Trauma can affect the way you think, feel, and experience the world long after the event has passed. It may leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or as though you are constantly in survival mode. Trauma-focused therapy provides a compassionate space to gently process difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will work to understand the impact of your experiences, reduce emotional distress, and help you regain a sense of safety and control.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you develop a healthier relationship with your thoughts and feelings so they no longer control your decisions. Instead of fighting uncomfortable emotions, you will learn practical skills to accept them with compassion while taking meaningful steps towards what matters most to you.
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Many of us are far kinder to others than we are to ourselves. If you are often weighed down by self-criticism, shame, or feelings of not being โgood enough,โ Compassion-Focused Therapy can help you develop a more understanding and supportive relationship with yourself.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are closely connected. Sometimes, unhelpful thought patterns can keep us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unable to move forward. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you identify these patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. Together, we will build practical tools to help you manage difficult emotions, improve your wellbeing, and create lasting, positive change.
WHAT IS CBT?
Understanding thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and your behaviours.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that looks at how our thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours are connected. Together, we identify the patterns keeping you stuck and build practical tools that help you feel - and respond - differently.
CONDITIONS I WORK WITH
Anxiety Disorders
Living with an anxiety disorder can feel like your mind is always on high alert. You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, expecting the worst, or avoiding situations that feel overwhelming. Therapy helps you understand your anxiety, develop practical coping strategies, and build the confidence to navigate life with greater calm and control.
Depression & Low Mood
Depression and low mood can make it difficult to enjoy life, connect with others, or see a way forward. You do not have to face it alone. Together, we will work to understand your experiences and help you feel more engaged with life again.
Health Anxiety
Worrying about your health from time to time is normal, but when that worry becomes constant - checking symptoms, seeking reassurance, fearing the worst - it can take over daily life. Health anxiety therapy helps you understand where these fears come from and develop a calmer, more balanced relationship with your body and health.
Life Transitions
Life transitions can leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or struggling to adjust to change. Whether you are starting a new chapter, navigating loss, changing careers, or facing unexpected challenges, therapy can help you process your emotions, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Feeling trapped in a cycle of unwanted thoughts and repetitive behaviours that are difficult to control? You may find yourself checking, counting, cleaning, or seeking reassurance over and over, even when you know it is not helping. Therapy can help you break these patterns, reduce anxiety, and regain a greater sense of control over your daily life.
Panic Disorder
Panic attacks can feel frightening and often seem to come out of nowhere - a racing heart, difficulty breathing, dizziness, or an overwhelming sense of losing control. Panic disorder therapy helps you understand what is happening in your body during these episodes and equips you with practical tools to manage them, regain a sense of safety, and feel in control again.
Self-Esteem & Perfectionism
You may be overly critical of yourself or place impossible standards on everything you do. Therapy can help you challenge these unhelpful patterns, and develop a kinder, more balanced relationship with yourself.
Sleep Difficulties
Do you lay awake for hours, wake frequently during the night, or feel exhausted no matter how much you sleep? This will affect your mood, concentration, energy, and overall wellbeing. We will work together to understand what is disrupting your sleep, develop healthier sleep habits, and improve the quality of your rest.
Social Phobia
Being around other people can feel overwhelming when you are constantly worried about being judged, embarrassed or watched. Social anxiety can make everyday situations - meetings, gatherings, even a phone call - feel exhausting to navigate alone. Together, we will explore what fuels that fear and build the confidence to feel more at ease in social situations.
Specific Phobias
A specific phobia is an intense, persistent fear of a particular object or situation - flying, needles, heights or something else entirely - that can feel completely out of proportion to the real danger involved. If avoidance is starting to shape your daily life, therapy can help you gradually and safely work through that fear, at a pace that feels right for you.
Stress & Burnout
If you feel constantly overwhelmed and find it difficult to concentrate, feel irritable, or struggle to keep up with the demands of everyday life, we can help you identify the sources of your stress, develop healthier coping strategies, and restore a greater sense of balance and wellbeing.
Trauma & Difficult Experiences
Trauma can leave you feeling constantly on edge, overwhelmed by distressing memories, avoiding certain places or situations, or struggling to feel safe and connected to others. Therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to process your experiences, reduce their impact, and help you move forward with greater confidence and peace.
